Position: Welder – Second/Third Shift
Location: Georgetown, Texas
Schedule: 2:00pm – 10:00 pm or 10:00pm – 6:00am
Pay: $20–$27 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)
What You’ll Do
- Under light supervision, prepare your station and operate gas- and electric-arc equipment to weld precision sheet-metal assemblies and cabinets.
- Review drawings and plan the best approach, tools, and materials before striking an arc.
- Weld flat, vertical, overhead—whatever the job calls for.
- Clean, sand, and inspect joints; use a torch to trim parts or dismantle old assemblies.
- Keep your area tidy, help teammates when a line needs a hand, and jump on special projects when production surges.
What You Bring
- Previous production welding experience with sheet metal (or the skill to pass a weld test).
- Confidence reading blueprints, engineering specs, and using measuring tools.
- High-school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime or an occasional Friday/Saturday when orders spike.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand and walk for most of the shift, and wear required PPE.
