Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-established and highly respected leader in the construction materials industry to hire a Roller Operator

Pay Rate: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour DOE
Schedule: Sunday – Thursday, 6pm – Finish (8 – 12 hours depending on workload)
As Needed: Friday and Saturday
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate rollers and other paving equipment used for groundwork and asphalt construction.
- Perform daily pre- and post-operation equipment checks with proper documentation
- Handle minor servicing and upkeep of equipment; report major issues to supervisors.
- Follow directions from site leadership and work collaboratively with team members.
- Adhere to OSHA and MSHA regulations to maintain a safe jobsite.
- Provide guidance to less-experienced operators when needed.
- Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility for varying work assignments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 1–2 years of relevant heavy equipment or construction experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver’s license (CDL Class A or B preferred).
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
- Commitment to safety and teamwork; willingness to work overtime or travel if required.
Skills & Physical Requirements
- Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation and general construction practices.
- Ability to read and follow project documents and communicate effectively.
- Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and climb during shifts.
- Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs. and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work in environments that may involve loud noise, dust, or moving machinery.
