Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a leading aerospace manufacturer that is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Space Planner to support the coordination and optimization of office layouts across multiple sites. This position focuses on planning and managing workspace assignments, cubicle configurations, and seating arrangements (not on construction or building renovation work).
The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for spatial organization, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that workspace layouts are efficient, safe, and aligned with business needs.
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Pay: $31–$40 per hour DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, update, and maintain accurate seating charts and floor plans across office and facility locations.
- Coordinate office moves, department relocations, and workspace reconfigurations (e.g., cubicle setups, seating assignments, and department groupings).
- Analyze space utilization and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and collaboration.
- Work closely with Facilities, HR, and IT to ensure smooth transitions and proper setup of equipment during space changes.
- Maintain documentation and reporting related to space allocations, occupancy, and layout updates.
- Ensure that all workspace configurations comply with safety, accessibility, and company standards.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in office space planning, facilities coordination, or workplace management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAFM systems, and OfficeSpace software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to travel between local sites as needed to support workspace planning and coordination.
