Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-established company in the construction materials industry that is known for providing reliable service and quality products. They are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join their dispatch team and provide exceptional customer support to contractors and clients across the Central Texas area.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-call-volume environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is detail-oriented when handling order entry and scheduling.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Overtime: Every other Saturday required
Pay: $24.00 – $28.00/hour (DOE)
· Candidates with ready-mix or related industry experience will qualify for higher pay.
Key Responsibilities:
· Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls from customers placing or confirming orders
· Enter customer orders accurately into dispatch/order management systems
· Schedule deliveries and negotiate delivery times to meet customer needs
· Communicate effectively with dispatchers, drivers, and sales teams to ensure timely fulfillment
· Maintain accurate records and manage updates or changes in customer orders
· Support problem-solving and handle customer concerns professionally
· Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
· 3–5 years of customer service experience — dispatch, logistics, or call center experience preferred
· Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy and speed
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
· Basic computer proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
· Strong communication and organizational skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple tasks at once
· Familiarity with Austin and surrounding areas a plus
