Job Full Description
A well-established industrial manufacturing facility in Cedar Park is seeking experienced Maintenance Electricians to join its team. This role is ideal for electricians with a strong background in maintaining and troubleshooting equipment in a fast-paced production environment.
This role requires a strong background in industrial electrical maintenance and is best suited for electricians with journeyman-level experience
Shifts Available:
1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Overtime may be required, including occasional Saturday shifts when necessary.
Pay:
Up to $35/hour, depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain plant electrical infrastructure and production machinery in an industrial setting
- Assemble, install, test, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control systems, and equipment
- Diagnose electrical failures using testing devices and hand tools to locate and correct breakdowns
- Work with and troubleshoot:
o 3-phase high voltage systems
o Transformers
o PLCs
o Motor controls
- Connect wiring to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components
- Inspect systems for hazards, defects, and necessary repairs to ensure code compliance
- Perform continuity and safety testing using voltmeters, ohmmeters, oscilloscopes, and multi-meters
- Follow required safety precautions and comply with OSHA safety and health standards
- Complete assigned maintenance tasks in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent journeyman-level experience strongly preferred
- Strong industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant environment
- Proven knowledge of 480V systems, 3-phase power, PLC troubleshooting, and motor control circuits
- Minimum 2+ years of related experience supporting production equipment
- Strong communication skills required; bilingual a plus
