Job Full Description
A large industrial project site in the Taylor area is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Spotter / Helper to join their team. This position plays a key role in supporting complex installation and logistical operations in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.
The Spotter / Helper is responsible for maintaining a safe work environment during equipment movement and installation activities. This role requires strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and a commitment to safety protocols.
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay: $20.00/hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure safety during heavy equipment operations (cranes, lifts, etc.)
- Direct foot and equipment traffic in active work zones
- Set up and secure hazardous areas using cones, barriers, and signag
- Assist with materials handling and general site support
- Communicate clearly with operators and team members to prevent accidents
- Maintain awareness of surroundings in a fast-paced industrial environment
Qualifications:
- Ability to work outdoors and in an active industrial setting
- Strong communication and situational awareness skills
- Steel toe boots required
- Ability to lift, move, and assist with materials as needed
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
