Express Employment Professionals is hiring Express Employment Professionals for immediate openings at a manufacturing facility in Burnet, TX. We are seeking reliable, safety-focused individuals to support fabrication, material handling, and production operations.
These are full-time, hands-on positions in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Schedule: 3rd Shift | Sunday – Thursday |4:30 PM – 4:30 AM
Starting Pay: $23.00/hour (Base Pay + $4.00 Overnight Differential)
Positions:
- General Labor
- Small Capacity Forklift Operator
- Large Capacity Forklift Operator
- Saw Operator
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate propane and diesel sit-down forklifts
- Load, unload, stage, and organize steel materials and assemblies
- Support welding and fabrication teams with material staging
- Operate band saws to cut metal stock (training provided if needed)
- Operate overhead cranes and rigging equipment
- Sort tubing, rebar, plate, and fabricated components
- Support coating, finishing, and shipping operations
- Perform routine forklift inspections
- Assist with shop housekeeping and maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and production goals
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing setting
- Non-climate-controlled facility
- Exposure to outdoor elements
- Physically active role working around heavy equipment
- Fast-paced production environment
What You Bring:
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
- Forklift operating experience (propane or diesel preferred)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to perform physical labor throughout shift
- Willingness to learn saw operation and fabrication support tasks
- Reliable attendance and dependability
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout shift
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment
- Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred:
- Forklift certification (small or large capacity)
- Experience operating band saws or cutting equipment
- Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience
- Experience operating overhead cranes or rigging equipment
