Job Summary:
We are hiring a dependable Material Handler to join a fast-paced manufacturing team in Round Rock, TX. This hands-on position is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, has forklift experience, and is comfortable using power tools to build shipping pallets and crates. Location: Round Rock, TX
Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Job Duties
- Operate a forklift to safely move materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Build wooden pallets, crates, and shipping boxes using power tools such as skill saws, nail guns, and drills.
- Prepare products for shipment by securely packaging materials to prevent damage during transport.
- Stage materials for production and outbound deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as needed.
- Follow all company safety procedures and work efficiently in a busy manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Basic knowledge of power tools, including skill saws, nail guns, and drills.
- Experience building or repairing wooden pallets, crates, or shipping containers preferred.
- Comfortable performing manual labor in a loud, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and move materials throughout the workday.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
