Job Full Description
We're looking for a team player who wants a short-term position. Our client is a construction materials supplier in Northeast San Antonio is looking for a Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver with a DOT Medical card (REQUIRED). Pay is $20/hr. Duties for the Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver position include:
- ***Delivery Driving using Box Truck or Sprinter Van to shops or job sites***
- Operate sit-down forklift
- Shipping and receiving, offloading trucks, stocking and storing merchandise
- Pulling and filling orders for loading onto delivery vehicles
- Loading and unloading with forklift
- Helping with inventory
- Unloading some of the duct work by hand out on a job site
- Delivering product to job sites and or shops/ customers
- Heavy Lift Requirement - Up to 50 pounds
Requirements for the Delivery Driver position are:
- DOT Medical card REQUIRED
- Good communication skills, ability to interact positively with both customers and co-workers. Self-Starter; able to handle pressure. Motivated, dependable
- Heavy Lift Requirement - Up to 50 pounds
- Must have a solid driving record
- Accuracy in shelf placement and product selection. Safe operation of all equipment. Interest in long term position with room for growth
- Must have experience with a sit-down forklift and delivery driving
- ***Warehouse is very hot and you will most likely get very dusty***
- Bilingual is a plus
- ***Need to be able to do basic math and have strong attention to detail***
