Job Full Description
Our client, a premier manufacturer and distributor in the building supply industry in Northeast San Antonio, is seeking a Wood Shop Machine Operator with knowledge of construction field a plus. This is a long-term assignment with an opportunity to go permanent with the client. Pay is $17.00/hr. Hours are Mon-Fri:7am-3:30pm.
Job duties for the Wood Shop Machine Operator include:
- Move and load raw material onto a machine.
- Select appropriate program for the desired product
- Monitor machine operations
- Removed completed material from machine
- Accomplish quality control check of completed material
Requirements for the Wood Shop Machine Operator are:
- HS or GED min
- 2 years Wood Shop experience preferred
- Able to read and use a tape measure
- Ability to add, subtract, using whole numbers and common fractions
- Must be willing to train and move between departments
- Strong safety background and attendance record
