Job Full Description
Our client, a premier manufacturer and distributor in the building supply industry in South San Antonio, is seeking a Wood Shop Production Associate with knowledge of construction field a plus. This is a long-term assignment with an opportunity to go permanent with the client. Pay is $17-$18/hr. Hours are Mon-Fri:7am-3:30pm.
Job duties for the Wood shop Production Associate include:
- Receive, move, store, prepare raw materials for production
- Assemble components on production line
- Operate machinery safely - sanding, grinding, finishing the product
- Perform basic quality control on finished product
- Maintain clean work areas and equipment
Requirements for the Wood Shop Production Associate are:
- HS or GED min
- Strong attention to detail/organizational skills
- Demonstrate ability to work well with others
- Ability to work independently/tight deadlines
- Must be willing to train and move between departments
- Strong safety background and attendance record
