Job Full Description
Our client, a plumbing supply company, is looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver to join their team for a long-term position starting at $17.00/hr with pay increases and profit sharing once you go permanent! The company is a supplier for companies across the country -- and poised for continued growth! Job duties for the Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver include:
- Driving a 26 foot Box Truck or 30 foot flatbed, automatic transmission, with pipes and other plumbing equipment safely and efficiently. Person will be driving about 50% of the time.
- Manually unloading water heaters from truck using a hand dolly
- Receiving inbound materials, offloading trucks, stocking/storing in warehouse
- Use of sit-down forklift to load, unload and move some product
- Order pulling
- Prepare final products for shipping and load onto trucks
- Basic warehouse cleaning
- Reading packing list checking what's on the pallet and making sure quantities match
- Reading an excel sheet making sure all inventory is correct and if not then reporting it to management
- Maintain proper inventory levels and keeping it organized
Requirements for the Warehouse Associate/ Delivery Driver include:
- Can drive a 26 foot Box Truck or 30 foot flatbed, automatic transmission, safely and efficiently
- Shipping and Receiving experience strongly preferred
- Forklift experience
- Can handle heavy lift and being on your feet all day
