Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a Entry Level CNC Machinist for a long term, evaluation-hire opportunity. Pay is $17-$19 an hour depending on experience. Seeking a dependable and motivated CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is ideal for candidates with CNC-Mill experience. You will operate vertical milling machines to produce precision components used in our thermal and acoustic insulation products. Duties for the Entry Level CNC Machinist position include:
- Operate CNC vertical milling machines according to production specifications.
- Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts.
- Monitor machine operations and report any issues or irregularities.
- Assist with machine setup under supervision.
- Experience with vertical mills or sheet metal components.
Requirements for the Entry Level CNC Machinist position are:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 6+ months previous experience in set and operation of CNC vertical milling.
- Familiarity with basic measuring tools and mechanical drawings.
- Must have basic math skills, a strong understanding of print reading, a good knowledge of tool holders and precision measuring instruments
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.

This is a long term, evaluation hire opportunity. Hours for the Entry Level CNC Milling Machinist position are 6am to 3pm Monday through Thursday. Pay is $17-$19 an hour depending on experience.
