Our client, a family-owned and operated vehicle sales and service company in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a Small Engine Repair Technician for a long term, temp-to-hire opportunity. Pay is $17 to $22/HR. depending on experience. Fun, friendly, team environment. Company pays consistent and steady hourly pay versus uncertain flag rate. If you enjoy fun and family environment, then this is for you! Duties for the Small Engine Repair Technician position include:
- Discuss equipment issues, maintenance plans, and work performed with customers
- Perform routine engine maintenance, such as lubricating parts and replacing spark plugs
- Test and inspect engines for malfunctioning parts
- Adjust components according to specifications
- Repair or replace worn, defective, or broken parts
Requirements for the Small Engine Repair Technician position are:
- 1-3-years small engine repair experience.
- Previous experience with an equipment rental company or landscaping company as a mechanic is a good fit
- Mechanical and tool knowledge a must. Certification preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn with strong work ethic
- Briggs/Stratton, Stihl, Kohler repair experience preferred

This is a long term, temp-to-hire opportunity. Hours for the Small Engine Repair Technician position are 730am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Some Saturday work (730am – 3pm) is required.
