Quality Company...Quality Work! Service with a purpose! Our client, a major national construction supplier in Northeast San Antonio, is seeking a Warehouse Associate. Pay is $16-$18/hr. Hours are typically Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm. However, workload can often stretch the day up to 10 hours. Workers must be flexible to stay until the work is complete each day. This creates opportunity for overtime.
Job duties for the Warehouse Associate include:
- Load and unload trucks using a forklift, pallet jack, handcart
- Count, check, record items coming in or going out
- User RF Scanner to scan barcodes and labels for tracking
- Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material
Requirements for the Warehouse Associate are:
- 2 years or more of warehouse experience required
- Previous forklift experience helpful
- Basic math skills - add/subtract
- Able to communicate in English
- Motivated, self-starter, can work independently or in a team
- Lift up to 50 pounds, stand and walk much of shift
