Job Full Description
Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company in Northeast San Antonio is looking for a Electrical Helper for a long term, evaluation-hire opportunity. Pay is $18-$20 an hour depending on experience. The company is looking for someone to become part of the family. Duties for the Electrical Helper position include:
- Support electricians in the installation and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
- Help in preparing and cleaning job sites, ensuring tools and materials are organized and available.
- Keep tools and equipment in good working order, performing basic maintenance as needed.
- Carry out basic repairs and maintenance on electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
- Secure Electrical Components, installing brackets/conduits electrical boxes and pulling wires
- Carry out basic repairs and maintenance on electrical systems under the supervision of a licensed electrician.
Requirements for the Electrical Helper position are:
- Physically fit, able to lift up to 50 pounds
- At least 6 months experience in Electrical Apprenticeship
- Requires own equipment to include small hand tools and measuring equipment
- Fundamental understanding of Electrical systems and tools is essentials
- Strong attention to detail
- Ensuring safety on the job site is a critical responsibility. Electrical helper must follow safety protocols, report hazards, and assist in maintaining a clean organized work environment.
- High school education and/or formal training through a vocational or technical school

This is a long term, evaluation hire opportunity. Hours for the Electrical Helper position are 7am to 6pm Monday through Thursday. Pay is $18-$20 an hour depending on experience.
