Job Full Description
Our client, a major regional construction supplier in Northeast San Antonio, is seeking a Warehouse Associate. Pay is $18/hr. Hours are typically Monday-Friday: 7am to 4pm with a 30-minute lunch. No weekend work required. Typical work week is 42.5 hours. Bump in pay to $19/hr when going permanent.
Job duties for the Warehouse Associate include:
- Fill customer job orders.
- Order Selecting
- Load customer vehicle with product. Unload/Receiving material
- Occasionally deliver product to customer using company vehicle
Requirements for the Warehouse Associate are:
- 2 years or more of warehouse experience required
- Previous forklift experience helpful
- Able to read and use a tape measure
- Other tools used include a drill and a torch for cutting
- Able to read and write in English
- Motivated, self-starter, can work independently or in a team
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Dependability and Punctuality are keys to success. The rest can be trained
- Texas Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
