Maintenance Technician
Our client, a growing National Recycling Company in Northeast San Antonio, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support its expanding operation. This job is a long-term opportunity to join a great team with competitive pay ranging from $25 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance and repairs on conveyors, balers, motors, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues and rebuild equipment components
- Perform Daily Equipment Inspections (DEI) and maintain maintenance logs
- Support emergency breakdowns and production schedule needs
- Maintain OSHA-compliant work area and safe equipment operation

Requirements:
- 5+ years industrial maintenance experience
- Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic knowledge
- Experience with conveyor systems
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and follow procedures
- High School Diploma & clean driving record
- Background check required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Ability to push, pull, bend, and lift 25+ pounds, with occasional lifting to 50 pounds.
- Required to stand or work on concrete floors for most of the workday.
- Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Requires coordinated use of arms, hands, fingers, and legs.
