Job Full Description
Our client, a family-owned manufacturing company in Northeast San Antonio, is looking for a Production Technician/Inventory for a long term, evaluation-hire opportunity. Pay is $19 an hour.
Duties for the Production Technician/Inventory position include:
- Monitor/Manipulate company manufacturing and production software to ensure production schedule is met
- Track the status of Sales Orders and Work Order operations to ensure production schedule is maintained.
- Coordinate with Inventory Management to avoid shortages and excesses
- Assist Quality with internal documentation to preserve evidence of conformance
- Plan and monitor material movement in the production cycle to ensure continuous operations
- Assist in shipping and receiving functions that impact production
Requirements for the Production Technician/Inventory position are:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience with Acumatica ERP a plus
- 3-4 years' relevant experience in a Manufacturing environment
- Communication, interpersonal skills to work well with others
- Manufacturing, Logistics, Inventory Management, Supply Chain experience
- Attention to detail
