Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals Northeast San Antonio office is currently partnering with a premier manufacturers' representative for HVAC products in the San Antonio area to place a Temporary Accounting Specialist for an immediate-start assignment. This position is expected to last approximately 1 month, with the possibility of extension based on business needs. Compensation for the position will be $20–$25/hour and work hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
Essential Job Functions include:
- Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions, including invoicing, collections, and payment posting
- Reconcile vendor invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies
- Generate and send client invoices, while following up on outstanding balances
- Assist with month-end close activities and ensure accuracy of financial records
- Respond to internal and external billing inquiries in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications we are seeking entail:
- 2+ years of experience in accounting support, including AP, AR, or billing functions
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Experience working with accounting or ERP systems (NetSuite, Infor, or similar)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
