Production Supervisor

Lead Production Teams and Drive Continuous Improvement
Our client, a growing manufacturing company, is seeking experienced Shift Production Supervisors on each of their three (3) shifts to oversee production operations, ensure quality standards, promote workplace safety, and lead employees to achieve production goals. This is a direct hire opportunity, offering long-term career growth with an established organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background, proven supervisory experience, and hands-on exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodologies.
Compensation & Benefits
- $24.00 per hour
- Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule production workflow to meet production goals and deadlines
- Establish and maintain production, inventory, and quality control standards
- Supervise and lead production employees while fostering a positive team environment
- Prepare daily production reports and maintain accurate production records
- Ensure products meet quality specifications and customer requirements
- Enforce company safety policies and procedures
- Analyze work orders and coordinate materials, supplies, and equipment needs
- Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and coordinate corrective actions
- Authorize employee time records and production documentation
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience leading production teams and managing workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to interpret written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Lean Manufacturing experience highly preferred
- 5S implementation or continuous improvement project experience strongly preferred
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements
- Project management experience
- Experience with quality control processes and production reporting
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
