Job Full Description

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze historical data to provide sales insights on performance, seasonality, and high-level trends.
  • Analyze sales data and to identify trends, opportunities, and potential challenges.
  • Play an integral role within the sales operations team to enforce Salesforce best practices within the sales team.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding orders, deliveries, warranties, customer onboarding, and general support.
  • Manage the order fulfillment process to ensure timely and accurate processing of sales orders.
  • Planning and coordinating shipments of solar module pallets, ensuring effective communication of any issues or updates to our customers throughout transportation.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and other departments to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales operations, preferably in the solar industry.
  • Technical understanding of solar power systems and inverters is a plus.
  • Ability to work with customers on technical questions and solutions, drawing expertise from the company's application engineering team and working closely with all other departments.
  • Experience with Excel, Fishbowl, Oracle, HubSpot, and Salesforce is a plus but not required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and basic PC skills.
  • Familiarity with SAP and ERP systems.
  • Ability to adjust, adapt, and maintain a positive attitude in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
  • Excellent communication, both spoken and written, and interpersonal skills.
  • High self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external groups.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage daily, weekly, and monthly required work tasks.
  • Must be able to directly interface with various individuals, companies, and vendors to create, maintain, and solidify strong relationships.
  • Overtime and weekend work may be required based on product and/or departmental needs.

Physical Demands:

  • Typical demands in an office environment include typing, sitting, and looking at a computer monitor for extended periods.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, move, and/or position objects weighing up to 51 pounds unassisted when performing essential job functions.
  • When performing essential job functions, the worker may need to bend, stoop, crouch, ascend, and/or descend regularly.
  • Constantly observes, assesses, inspects, communicates, detects, conveys, and exchanges information when performing essential job functions.
