Full time AP Supervisor needed for NW San Antonio dealership
We are seeking 2-6 years of strong AP experience and someone that has been a supervisor for an AP department.
Fully understand the accounts payable and cas disbursement functions, especially required internal controls, interacts well with people in various roles, leads and teaches by example, understand key functions in spreadsheets, and technology savvy.
The Accounts Payable Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of employees performing processes and procedures related to the Accounts Payable and Cash Disbursement functions, and for ensuring the timely and accurate recording of transactions related to same. Oversight includes multiple entities with separate accounting areas.
These processes and procedures include but are not limited to the following:
- Recording vendors’ invoices as approved by authorized company managers.
- Reconciling Accounts Payable subsidiary ledgers to vendors’ statements and resolving outstanding items.
- Disbursing payments within prescribed controls.
- Vendor set up and maintenance.
- Maintaining / ensuring controls to prevent fraud and unauthorized disbursements.
- Complying with government reporting requirements for payments to vendors and individuals.
