The Deduction Management Agent ensures accurate financial reporting and effective resolution of deduction-related disputes. This role is vital in maintaining customer relationships, optimizing cash flow, and identifying root causes of deduction trends. Success in this role requires analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and ownership of process improvements aligned with companys' core vlaues.
- Analyze and validate customer deductions to determine legitimacy.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain detailed records of all deduction transactions and supporting documentation.
- Proactively engage customers to resolve disputes professionally and in a timely manner.
- Interpret sales contracts, promotional terms, and pricing agreements to assess deduction validity.
- Develop and track metrics to improve recovery rates and reduce unresolved balances.
- Support Order Management processes as needed during staff leave or high-volume periods.
- Identify recurring deduction causes and drive cross-functional process improvements.
- Strong Excel and reporting tool skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, basic dashboards).
- Knowledge of dispute resolution and customer deduction workflows.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Spanish conversational skills preferred.
- Experience with Retail Link, M6 Kroger, and other customer portals is a strong plus.
