Job Full Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for operating multiple CNC machines within established standards while inspecting parts throughout the machining process. Ensures product quality and meets production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate multiple CNC machines simultaneously; cross-train on all equipment
- Read basic blueprints, load/unload parts, and inspect to maintain tolerances
- Use precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gage pins, depth micrometers)
- Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and report issues as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all procedures and documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience with multi-axis CNC machines (routers, horizontal/vertical mills preferred)
- Basic blueprint reading and understanding of tolerances
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Working knowledge of tooling and machining components
- Basic math skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to operate multiple machines and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
