Quality Assurance Inspector (Night Shift | Non-Exempt)
Location: Laredo, TX
Department: Quality
A growing organization in the fresh produce industry is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to support night shift operations. This non-exempt role is responsible for inspecting inbound and outbound produce to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of QA experience in a produce environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and grade incoming/outgoing products based on established standards.
- Conduct food safety and facility audits; report deficiencies.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
- Perform additional quality checks as needed.
Skills
- Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, USDA, and FSVP preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork
