Job Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and rapidly growing leader in the commercial truck and transportation industry. We are seeking an experienced and certified Mobile Diesel Technician / Foreman to join our client’s mobile service team.
This is an exciting field-based position offering hands-on diagnostic and repair responsibilities, direct customer interaction, and the opportunity to work with a commercial fleet line.
Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, maintain, and repair commercial diesel trucks and equipment on-site at customer locations

Respond to field service calls and troubleshoot issues with urgency and accuracy
-
Use diagnostic tools and manufacturer systems to pinpoint mechanical/electrical issues

Repair or replace components such as injectors, pistons, camshafts, cylinder heads, clutches, transmissions, brakes, and batteries

Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil checks, lubrication, safety inspections, and fueling

Maintain and stock your mobile service vehicle and inventory

Communicate service updates and recommendations to customers

Accurately document work performed in mobile service software and internal systems

Participate in ongoing training programs to maintain certifications and skills

Be available for after-hours calls and have a flexible work schedule
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED
-
5+ years of experience working on Class 7 & 8 trucks in a dealership environment or similar setting
-
Mechanical aptitude and strong diagnostic ability
-
CDL and current medical card preferred (or willing to obtain)

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
-
OEM certifications and ASE certifications are highly preferred

Must be organized, dependable, and capable of working independently in the field
