We are currently recruiting for a Senior HVAC Technician ready to take the next step in their career by leading a high-performing team while ensuring quality control and compliance with energy rebate program standards.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Technician ready to step into a leadership and Quality Control (QC) role. This position will begin with hands-on HVAC tune-ups and evolve into training, supervising, and overseeing the performance of a growing team of technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC tune-ups in compliance with Energy rebate program standards
- Identify and document system performance issues, inefficiencies, or necessary repairs
- Ensure full adherence to rebate program requirements and internal company protocols
- Mentor and train junior HVAC technicians to ensure consistent service delivery
- Assist in building a reliable, skilled HVAC service team
- Conduct QC inspections on tune-ups and HVAC installations for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of service activities
- Communicate effectively with operations and service management
Experience & Qualifications (Required):
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience (residential or light commercial)
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (must have)
- TDLR (must have)
- Proficient in HVAC tune-up procedures and diagnostics
- Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background and employment screening
Preferred (but not required):
- Familiarity with Energy rebate programs
