About the Role:
Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a local bank in Killeen, TX for a Credit Card Program Manager. This position oversees the daily operations, compliance, and performance of the bank’s credit card program while leading a team and driving process improvements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in credit card operations or consumer lending
- Prior banking experience preferred
- 2+ years of leadership or management experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of credit card regulations and compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and reporting systems
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must pass a background check
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily credit card operations, including applications, servicing, disputes, and portfolio monitoring
- Ensure compliance with all applicable consumer lending regulations
- Develop and improve processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk
- Maintain procedures and internal controls for audits and regulatory reviews
- Train staff on policy updates and regulatory changes
- Supervise and support team members within the credit card department
- Prepare reports for leadership on performance and compliance
- Recommend strategies to improve growth, profitability, and risk management
- Manage vendor relationships and support cross-department communication
