Express Employment Professionals is hiring an Industrial Painter / Blaster for a growing manufacturing facility. If you have experience with industrial painting, surface preparation, or media blasting and take pride in producing quality work, we'd love to hear from you!
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer.
- Operate media blasting equipment for surface preparation.
- Mix and apply industrial paints and coatings using spray equipment.
- Follow work orders and specifications to ensure quality finishes.
- Inspect painted surfaces and perform touch-ups as needed.
- Clean and maintain paint equipment and work areas.
- Measure, label, and organize completed parts for shipping.
- Maintain production records and monitor paint inventory.
- Follow all safety procedures and properly wear required PPE.
- Support production goals and assist in other areas as needed.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of industrial or structural painting experience preferred.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience with spray painting equipment, paint mixing, and surface preparation.
- Ability to read work orders, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, dependable, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required.
