Express Employment Professionals in Terrell has partnered with a local company to fill an overnight Tube Laser Operator position!
Role and Responsibilities
- Preparing and loading machine with raw material according to predetermined schedule.
- Setting up machine for processing raw material.
- Assuring machine is operating as required during processing.
- Checking processed parts for quality issues/tolerance issues.
- Machine maintenance and upkeep.
- Assisting/advising material handler when needed.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Read and write in English
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Hard working, fast moving, Self-driven to succeed attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
- Forklift/heavy machinery operating experience
- Overhead crane operating experience
- Ability to read measuring devices (Tape measures/calipers)
- Familiar with hand tools, (Hand grinders, hammers, etc.)
- Mechanical experience
