Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a company in Terrell to fill some Quality Inspector roles!
- Mon-Thurs, 6am-4:30pm
- Proficient in the reading and interpretation of manufacturing drawings for things such as but not limited to, dimensions, tolerances, notes, weld symbology.
- Proficient in the use of measurement devices such as, tape measures, squares, levels, protractors, calipers, bore gauges, pin gauges, and GO-NO GO gauges with accuracy.
- Has basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Competent in the conversion of Imperial and Metric dimensions.
- Able to run CMM and capture data on all parts per company’s requirements.
- Able to use and process part through inspection using the companies ERP system.
- Proficient in the inspection of single pass welds for size and visual defects.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area during shift and performs end of shift clean-up activities to put away tools, equipment, materials, and supplies, cleaning machines, sweeping floor, and throwing out trash.
- Performs any other duties or activities required by supervisors and managers.
- Follows all company policies and safety guidelines.
