Job Title: General Maintenance Mechanic – Day Shift ($15/hr)
Location: Waco, TX
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Shift: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday–Friday

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely repairs

Use hand and power tools safely and correctly

Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Maintain accurate logs of work performed and materials used

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls

Assist with special projects and facility improvements

Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes

Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
✅ Required Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license (must be able to drive independently)

High school diploma or GED

Hands-on experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting

Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general facilities upkeep

Familiarity with maintenance tools, meters, and equipment

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
💡 Preferred Skills:

Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or Mechanic

Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures

Ability to operate tools and small machinery

Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and building codes
