Job Full Description
warehouse worker is responsible for a variety of tasks in a warehouse setting, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products. The role involves physical labor, inventory management, and the safe operation of equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Key Responsibilities:

Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins.

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.

Perform inventory checks and assist with cycle counts.

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Follow safety protocols and company procedures.

Label, scan, and document shipments using inventory management systems.

Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Skills and Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED (preferred).

Prior warehouse experience (preferred but not always required).

Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs).

Basic math and computer skills.
-
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
-
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime.
