Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Auto Glass Installer to join our team. This position is responsible for removing, repairing, and installing auto glass components, including windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other vehicle glass parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely remove damaged or broken auto glass using proper tools and techniques

Install new windshields, rear windows, side windows, and other glass components

Ensure proper alignment, sealing, and bonding of glass to meet manufacturer and safety standards

Inspect completed work to ensure quality, functionality, and appearance

Apply moldings, adhesives, and other materials as required

Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety guidelines

Communicate with customers to explain repairs, provide timelines, and ensure satisfaction

Complete work orders, documentation, and other required paperwork accurately

Operate company vehicles and equipment responsibly when necessary

Follow all company procedures and OSHA safety regulations
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required
-
Prior experience in auto glass installation or a similar mechanical/automotive trade preferred

Strong mechanical skills and familiarity with hand and power tools

Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work orders, and manufacturer instructions

Excellent attention to detail and focus on quality and safety

Good communication and customer service skills

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the workday

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
