🔥 NOW HIRING: Flux Core Welder (FCAW Welder)
Location: Waco, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Shifts available
Pay: DOE – Competitive hourly rate + weekly pay
Type: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire (based on client needs)
A local manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Flux Core Welder (FCAW) to join their production team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing flux-cored arc welding on various metal components and structures in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality welds consistently.
🔧 Key Responsibilities

Perform flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) on metal structures and components

Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld symbols

Set up welding machines and adjust settings based on job specifications
-
Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

Use grinders, cutting torches, and hand tools as needed

Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to meet daily goals

Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols
-
Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues to supervisors
✔️ Requirements

Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder (FCAW)

Ability to read and interpret welding symbols and engineering drawings

Strong understanding of welding processes, metals, and fabrication techniques

Ability to lift up to [X lbs] and perform physically demanding tasks

Excellent attention to detail and quality control

Must have reliable transportation and good attendance

Must pass a weld test, background check, and drug screen (client specific)

PPE required (weld hood, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.)

Experience welding in a manufacturing or industrial environment

AWS certifications (optional but a plus)

Experience with MIG, stick, or TIG welding

Knowledge of fabrication and fitting
