Mechanic / Equipment Maintenance Technician
Location: Local Company / Equipment Facility
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Day Shift (Hours discussed during interview)
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic / Equipment Maintenance Technician to diagnose, service, and repair engines and hydraulic systems to ensure safe and reliable equipment operation. This role requires hands-on mechanical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose, service, and repair engines and hydraulic systems

Perform tire changes and flat tire repairs

Identify, troubleshoot, and repair water and fluid leaks

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment reliability

Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime

Document repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed

Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications & Requirements

Previous experience as a mechanic or maintenance technician

Strong knowledge of engines, hydraulics, and mechanical systems

Ability to diagnose mechanical issues efficiently and accurately

Experience with routine preventative maintenance and inspections

Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred (But Not Required)

Experience working on heavy equipment, industrial equipment, or fleet vehicles

Certifications or formal mechanical training
