Position Summary
Express Employment Professional's is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA standards, including proper PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Maintain and optimize punching and stamping dies
- Perform die spotting, fitting, and formability improvements
- Conduct routine die maintenance including cleaning, sharpening, and inspections
- Operate machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders to repair and modify tools and dies
- Recommend parts and tool orders as needed
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to maintenance and equipment performance
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and pneumatics
- Experience working with metal sheet processing equipment preferred
- PLC knowledge desired
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision
- Proactive mindset focused on preventive maintenance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented with a “can-do” attitude
