Sales Account Executive – Waco, TX
Express Employment Professionals is hiring on behalf of a local company in Waco, TX for a Sales Account Executive. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building customer relationships, generating new business, and managing accounts from initial contact through order completion.
Pay: $40,000 Base Salary + Commission
Location: Waco, TX
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday 9:00-5:00
Position Type: Temp-to-Hire
Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, delivery timelines, and order status
- Prepare and follow up on quotes, proposals, and sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Prospect for new business and grow assigned territory
- Manage customer accounts and maintain accurate CRM records
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Assist with new account setup and customer financing documentation
- Support collection efforts on past-due accounts when needed
- Handle returned goods documentation and coordinate with appropriate departments
- Track sales activity and provide regular updates to management
- Travel periodically to visit key customer accounts
Qualifications
- Previous sales, account management, business development, or customer service experience required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience preparing quotes, proposals, and sales documentation
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience with Sage 100 a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on leads effectively
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to travel occasionally for customer visits
