Shipping Container Unloader (Temporary Position)
Position Overview:
A local company is seeking four hardworking and physically capable individuals for a temporary position assisting with unloading shipping containers. This labor-intensive role involves lifting products weighing between 25-40 pounds and preparing them for shipment by placing them on pallets and shrink-wrapping. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently unload products from shipping containers.
- Lift and handle items weighing 25-40 pounds consistently throughout the shift.
- Organize and place products onto pallets in an orderly manner.
- Secure pallets with shrink wrap for transport or storage.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Physically capable of performing repetitive heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment is a plus but not required.
