Warehouse Associate
Position Overview
A growing local fabrication company is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse / Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including forklift operation, loading and unloading shipments, inventory management, and completing required documentation. This is a full-time position with overtime opportunities available.
Key Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials.

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.

Prepare and process outgoing shipments according to company standards.

Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking, labeling, and organizing stock.

Complete shipping documents, inventory logs, and other required paperwork accurately.

Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications
-
Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience preferred.

Forklift certification or proven forklift operating experience highly desirable.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

Ability to lift, move, and handle materials up to 50 pounds.

Basic math skills and attention to detail for inventory and documentation accuracy.

Dependable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive work ethic.
