Job Summary
Express Employment Professionals is seeking an experienced Construction Safety Inspector for a long-term project in Oklaunion, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background and be responsible for ensuring all job site operations comply with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
Requirements
- OSHA 30 Certification (REQUIRED)
- Proven construction experience with a strong safety background
- Minimum of 2+ years safety experience preferred
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance
- Ability to recognize hazards and enforce corrective action
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and on active construction sites
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily safety inspections and audits
- Ensure full compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
- Identify unsafe conditions and immediately implement corrective actions
- Conduct and document toolbox safety meetings
- Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near-misses
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety reports and logs
- Enforce proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Collaborate with supervisors and crews to maintain a safe work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on large-scale or long-term construction projects
- First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
