Job Description
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated and dependable Electrical Apprentice for a local company in Wichita Falls, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with at least two years of electrical experience who are looking to advance their skills and build a long-term career in the electrical trade.
The ideal candidate will assist licensed electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while following all safety standards and job-site requirements.
Responsibilities
- Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
- Pull wire, install conduit, and mount electrical components
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Follow all safety procedures and job-site protocols
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner
- Assist with material handling and job-site setup
- Work efficiently as part of a team while taking direction from supervisors
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and on schedule
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of electrical experience (commercial or residential preferred)
- Must provide own basic electrical tools
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices
- Ability to lift, bend, climb, and work in various environments
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
