Job Full Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Formulator to join our team in a production facility. The Formulator is responsible for preparing the mixture by following precise recipes and ingredient measurements. This role is essential in ensuring product consistency, quality, and food safety. You'll work directly with spices and other ingredients, as well as operate around large industrial mixing equipment.
Key Responsibilities:

Accurately follow formulation recipes and ingredient specifications

Weigh and measure ingredients precisely according to batch requirements

Work with spices, garlic, onion, and other strong-smelling ingredients

Operate or work near large food mixers with rotating paddles and other production equipment

Ensure batches are mixed properly and consistently to meet quality standards

Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations in compliance with food safety guidelines

Communicate with production supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow

Complete production paperwork and batch records accurately and timely

Assist in minor maintenance or cleaning of equipment as needed
Requirements:

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English

Strong attention to detail and accuracy with measurements and ingredients

Comfortable working around strong odors (garlic, onion, spices), and industrial equipment

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
-
Basic math and measuring skills required
-
Prior experience in food production is preferred but not required

Must be reliable and able to work the full shift from 6:00 AM until production is complete
