Seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant and Payroll Clerk to oversee payroll. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative and data entry skills, and communication skills, with experience in data entry, Safety (OSHA), and tax quarterlies. This role requires a versatile individual capable of managing multiple responsibilities, including Safety, Repairs and Maintenance Schedules, and bookkeeping.
Duties
- Coordinate daily payroll data entry
- Oversee calendar management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating appointments
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, as needed, using QuickBooks and other accounting tools
- Organize company events, meetings, and special projects through event planning and marketing expertise
- Oversee front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and phone etiquette
- Maintain filing systems, records management, and document control
- Support human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining personnel files
- Ensure compliance with office policies and procedures outlined by the supervisor
Experience
- Proven experience in administrative roles with a strong background in clerical and organizational duties
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel
- Familiarity with human resources processes including hiring, training & development, and employee relations
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and organizational abilities
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
