Dayshift Router Operator – Full Time (Immediate Opening)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Starting Pay: $17.00/hr
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dayshift Router Operator to join our team immediately. This position requires someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to keep production moving efficiently throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the router machine safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Read and interpret measurements accurately using a tape measure.
- Work with a computer daily to run jobs, monitor production, and manage workflow.
- Hand-load or flip sheet materials as needed — must be able to lift 50+ lbs consistently.
- Maintain a consistent production pace with a goal of cutting at least 50 sheets per day.
- Troubleshoot minor issues and keep the machine running smoothly.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Comfortable using a computer daily.
- Physically capable of lifting over 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think through processes.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
- Must meet daily production expectations.
