Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Garbage Truck Driver to join our team in a full-time, long-term position. The driver is responsible for the safe and efficient collection and transportation of residential and/or commercial waste materials while maintaining excellent service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate garbage and refuse collection trucks safely and efficiently
• Collect residential, commercial, or industrial waste according to assigned routes
• Load, unload, and compact waste materials as required
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety issues
• Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies
• Maintain accurate route logs and required documentation
• Interact professionally with customers and the public
• Assist with cleanup around collection areas when necessary
• Work in all weather conditions and varying environments

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid CDL Class B license (required)
• Clean or acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
• Previous garbage, refuse, or commercial driving experience preferred
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50–75 lbs repeatedly
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented

Work Schedule

• Full-time hours
• Early morning starts may be required
• Overtime may be available or required depending on route needs
