Job Title: Purchaser
Job Type: Full-Time $18/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am-4pm
Location: Cedar City, UT
We are seeking a Construction Purchaser to join our growing team and play a key role in keeping our projects supplied, on schedule, and on budget. If you excel at sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and coordinating deliveries in a fast-paced construction environment, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Source & purchase materials for residential projects
- Request and evaluate bids to secure competitive pricing
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Track orders and deliveries to ensure timely arrival at job sites
- Maintain accurate purchase orders, invoices, and procurement records
- Collaborate with project management to forecast material needs and adjust orders
- Resolve supplier issues, shortages, or damaged shipments
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and equipment
- Excellent negotiation and vendor-management skills
- Ability to read construction plans (preferred)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
