Job Full Description
Shipping clerk needed full time, long term. Preferred candidates will have knowledge of packing and shipping crates, pallets & heavy/tall electronic equipment. Job duties include reading production schedule for ship dates, attend production meetings and order & track inventory for shipping supplies. Will also be cutting lumber (use of table saw) and prepare structures and parts for shipping. Strap boxes to pallets, operate forklift and wrap gear with shrink wrap. Job requirements are to lift up to 50 lbs daily.
Shipping clerk must have Microsoft knowledge to create packing list & bill of lading (BOL).
Knowledge of FedEx Freight, Old Dominion, UPS websites to create BOL and labels preferred. Taking pictures of items being shipped and download to computer. Daily Loading and off loading trucks with forklift. Shipping RMA items back to vendor or manufacturer. Knowledge of reading and responding to emails.
