Job Details

Position Summary: A Dozer Operator is responsible for operating bulldozers and other heavy equipment to move earth, clear land, grade surfaces, and support construction, mining, road building, and site preparation projects. The operator must perform work safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate bulldozers to move soil, rock, debris, and other materials.
• Grade land and prepare construction sites according to plans and specifications.
• Build and maintain roads, pads, slopes, and drainage systems.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Identify and report equipment defects or needed repairs.
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Read and interpret site plans, staking, grades, and project specifications.
• Work closely with supervisors, surveyors, and other equipment operators.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment use, maintenance, and production.
• Keep work areas clean and free of hazards.
